The mill test certificate is the first document to verify. Check that the heat number, grade, chemical composition and mechanical properties match the specification in your purchase order, and that the certificate is issued by the mill rather than re-typed by a trader. A certificate that cannot be traced to a heat number offers little protection.
Dimensional and surface checks come next. Confirm measured thickness against the tolerance required by the standard, not only against the nominal figure, and inspect edge condition, surface quality and coating weight where applicable. For coated products, an accurate reading on both sides prevents surprises during forming or outdoor exposure.
Loading evidence is the third pillar. Photographs of the goods being loaded, the container number, the shipping marks and the sealed container give you a verifiable record of what was dispatched and when. For higher-value orders, a third-party inspection before sealing is a reasonable cost.
Every shipment from our factory is accompanied by its mill test certificate, packing list and loading photographs, and we welcome customer or third-party inspection at any stage of production.
